ATFX Receives Type 3 License

ATFX, a well-known brand in forex and CFDs trading, announced on Tuesday, August 30, 2024, that it has received a Type 3 license from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC). This new license, given to AT Global Financial Services Limited, will help ATFX expand its services to institutional and professional investors in Asia.

Statement from ATFX Chairman

Joe Li, the Chairman of ATFX, said, “This license shows our strong commitment to the Hong Kong market. It also proves our dedication to top regulatory standards and our focus on giving our institutional and professional clients a secure and trusted trading environment.”

Plans for Expansion and Service Improvement

The retail brokerage group will work more closely in Hong Kong and aim to grow its global presence. It wants to improve service quality and become more competitive in the market. “We look forward to expanding our presence and providing our valued Hong Kong-based clients with the exceptional service they expect from ATFX,” said Li.

Global Regulatory Authorizations

Besides Hong Kong, ATFX is also regulated in several other countries. The brand has regulatory approvals in the United Kingdom, Cyprus, Australia, Seychelles, Mauritius, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates.

Financial Performance Report

Earlier this month, Finance Magnates shared that AT Global Markets (UK) Limited, which runs the ATFX Connect brand and is regulated in the UK, finished 2023 with over £6.18 million in annual turnover. This was a 95.8 percent increase from the £3.16 million it earned the previous year. The company’s net income also rose by 64.8 percent, reaching £1.38 million.

Focus of ATFX Connect

The ATFX Connect brand provides services only to institutions and high-net-worth clients, not to regular customers.
